We don't have to worry about alien overlords. Remember the "Prime Directive" ? They can't interfere with the development of other species.

What will happen is:

"Beam me up Scotty. There's no intelligent life down here."

No one will be bothered if they are wearing their Star Trek cologne. It puts the alone in cologne. Or, Star Trek cologne...for when you want to be left alone.

All this money on the space programme and this rediculous bombing on the Moon could have been used in the USA to help Education or Health. Complete waste of money but no Town Hall meetings over this stupidity.

Yes, rather than advance ourselves scientifically, let's continue to dump billions of dollars on places such as Africa to teach them that sex is what spreads AIDS.

America should be putting their Dollars into improving the lives of Americans. The money sent abroad in aid could pay for better healthcare and education in America. The moon landings and the exploration of mars etc has improved our lives how exactly? Scientific advancement is a cure for Cancer NOT to see if there is water on the moon.

I hope the rocket doesn't hit a bank on the moon. Obama will spend billions to bail it out.
They should send him up there in person to investigate if there is water or ice on the moon.
He has his nose in everything else that he doesn't know how to fix. Maybe he can try to make gold out of barren moon dust and bring it back to pay off China and the National debt.

Good people are losing homes and families wonder where they can find money to feed their kids and this country is wasting billions of tax payer money to play around with s$!t like finding out if there is water on the moon.
Absolutely disgusting and immoral.
I guess playing around with outer space toys is more important than taking care of humans on earth.
Just shows what our leaders priorities are.
The hell with people, lets play games on the moon.
Sickening.
