So why did he say that the media wanted so badly to see him succeed? You have a poor recollection. The reason he said that was because nobody was saying anything about how poorly he was playing.
If the media was talking about it, that comment would have never been made, correct?
No, the media was indeed talking about how poorly McNabb was playing, which made his comment all the more retarded.
You're wrong. Stop making things up to try and prove your point.
You were the one who made things up by suggesting that the media wasn't ripping McNabb prior to Limbaugh's comments. Plenty of talk about benching him, and anyone who knows anything about the media in Philadelphia knows they have been rather harsh over the years on McNabb. To top that off, Rush's comments were about more than just his bad start in 03, it was about his career as a whole (never thought he was that good)
In my view a lot of you are making too much of a deal out of this. To the players it doesn't matter who owns the team as long as they get paid for playing. Just look at the military: GI's don't care who the Commander In Chief is, they just do shut-up and do their work, unlike some Hollywood actors and actresses, and some singers.
One of the reasons why I like Tiger Woods, other than being one of the best players in the world, is because he doesn't take sides in public. He just doesn't use his race as a means to whine, nor does he talk politics in front of the camera. He just plays, and does very well at that. What is there not to like about this guy?
But if I said an all black team would be horrible at baseball, THEN it'd be racist, right?
What's that have to do with the fact that I don't think black NFL players will refuse to play for Limbaugh?
