Rangel Innocent Until Proven Guilty, Pelosi Says - Political News - FOXNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/10/09/pelosi-rangel-probe-ethics-investigation/ - broken link)

Innocent until proven guilty -- that's why House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refuses to remove New York Rep. Charles Rangel from his powerful chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee.

-------------

I hope US citizens are also innocent until proven guilty if it comes to tax cheating....maybe we also never have to pay tax or can "forget" about paying...like many Dem. seems to forget....Tax cheat Geithner, Rangel....than we have tax cheat Al Sharpton, etc...

If Pelosi is sticking up for you, you know you're in trouble.

With their own, Democrats are perfectly comfortable with a culture of corruption. How can Barney Frank still be in office?

Although I never trusted Obama, Pelosi and Reid, I almost believed their transparency that they promissed and specially to post bills for 5 days so every one had a chance to read them before they would vote on it...

Even on that simple transparency and changing Washington...Obama's government is failing badly, and they even incl. Chicago's fraud and scam's into this government so it becomes worse and worse.

I agree with you. Here's why. Barney Frank is about the only tough Democrat there is. A predator will separate the weakest prey from the herd. They can't do it to Frank. When people go after Frank, he doesn't wuss around. Sure...he lies, but he lies with conviction, and he usually ends up turning it around on the accuser (because they let him). That dude will do an interview, they will show a clip of something he said and he will deny he said it. By the end of the interview, the interviewer will forget what they were accusing him of in the first place.

YouTube - Barney Frank v Harvard Student

This is typical...he was knee-deep in this. He never answered the question, he just talked about being attacked turning himself into a victim with no responsibility.

YouTube - Classic Bill O'Reilly - Loses it on Barney Frank

If you listen to him here, he's a hero. He DOES say that Fanny and Freddie are solid (going forward), but he DENIES saying this. It's on tape! Barney doesn't back down though...and he'll weather the storm for it.
