I never thought I would see the day for stories like this

Where does it end? Why cant people just stop butting into other peoples lives. If you dont want to eat hamburgers dont but why try and keep me from eatting them also

Yeah, I'm going to assume you didn't read the article AT ALL & based your post on the title alone. Try reading it this time & get back to us.

Geez, after reading the first few paragraphs of this story, I don't ever want to eat a burger again. Couldn't read much more than that, b/c the thought of never eating another of my husband's awesome burgers makes me sad.

But I did want to point out that this isn't about high-fat foods, it's about E.coli. Seems to me the problem might be enforcement of existing USDA regulations.

I know, I never even thought of that stuff before, bleck! It's about making sure people are informed, NOT about banning burgers, something I don't think the OP grasped.

Tonight is steak night in my house !
Ok at least I can keep my medium rare steaks.

I do not like my burgers like Hockey pucks though. But I rather be safe rather then very sick.

Just cook the chopped meat all the way through and there should not be a problem.

No need to ban Hamburgers!

On Monday night's "Larry King Live," a wide range of guests joined an in-depth and spirited debate to answer this question: Should meat, and most specifically hamburgers, be a part of the American diet?

What is your point exactly? Is anyone heading to capital hill to request legislation? No, they're simply talking about it. You're getting hysterical over nothing.
