That's what you call a textbook example of "reaching." Chris Matthews is reaching for something that he hopes will stick to the wall and create some sort of notoriety for his otherwise worthless commentary. This guy is pure scum. I'm not sure how he stays employed. MSNBC is certainly reaching as well by keeping him on the payroll. Something, anything, to elevate their abysmmal ratings.

i agree he was doing to get ratings. however wanting to put a pellet in someones head and kill them is wrong. Should a conservative say such a thing there would be a cry to get him off the air . |

When has Beck called for the death of anyone? I dont listen to Rush or Coulter
I said show us your class liberals because had Hannity, Bill Orielly said anything like this. Liberals would be screaming from the roof top to have them removed from fox news

Really? Not me, I could care less if they're on the air. And I could care less if they said something to the same effect because they do it to get a rise out of people. Regardless, I don't have cable so I don't watch those people anyway & I think it's weird that so many people take the word of talk-show hosts as the holy grail or something. |

Your opening post did nothing at all wrong other than to point out that Mr. Tingly had put out the offer to someone to "take care" of Rush. All it takes is for some weirdo to put the idea in the head of the off balance weirdo and the deed is done. I wonder of Matthews would be tried for giving aid and comfort to the one that does the trick.  |

I would say an equal combination of both. |
