Playboy magazine is primarily a masturbation aid. It is used by young boys to trigger arousal while they stroke their genitals. Looking at loads of these type of photos will likely result in compulsive masturbation which can have a negative effect on a boys life. Secretly doing this is no "playboy" lifestyle and is more the mark of a person with a closeted obsession/vice. As gross as the behavior that playboy magazine has spawned why would somebody tattoo the trademark of a masturbation aid on their body?

The pilot community; if ever a group had an issue with pornography this was it. This dispatch indicates that even the female pilots wield the one-handed magazines in an attempt to fit-in with the male majority of airplane drivers.
What is the divorce rate in this pornography soaked environment? Socially, pilots are known for one thing, late night flings in the overnight crew hotel. It seems that if the married pilot is not using one of the one-handed magazines in the crew hotel late at night he is acting out a real fantasy with one of the flight attendants. The pilot group is a bunch that could use a real moral "D-check". It is their families that suffer the most.
Wait...what?? I've worked with pilots for many years and that's definitely not the case, especially not with private pilots.

You seem like a very repressed person... sexuality is a good thing! We all express it in different ways, some by posing nude, some by wearing sexy lingerie underneath their boring uniforms.
The models get used; they drift in and out of transient relationship after transient relationship, and then are tossed aside by the time they are thirty. Sure they may bask in the glow of the attention but the male libido grows suddenly cold after it is satisfied. These models are more used to manipulate the passions of the readers and those drawn to them. The passion controls the women never does the women control the passion. The great majority of them become damaged goods by the experience. The passion controls them, Anna Nicole is a good example who was controlled and then destroyed by her passion for men, self satisfaction and drugs.
You obviously don't know many playmates and are making stereotypes. Most playmates are not Pamela Anderson or Anna Nicole. Most don't get famous enough to lead the turbulent life she has led. Most end up meeting and marrying wealthy men through the mansion parties or through Playboy promoted events. I know many ex-Playmates in their 40's and it's not a big deal. The truth is powerful men want beautiful women and many rich men will marry ex-Playmates. It's fairly common. Most of these ex-playmates are not recognizable and I'm sure you've seen many and didn't even know they were in Playboy. The reason Playboy is cool for many women is because it leads to wealth and power..simple enough!

You bring up an interesting point.
Men are allowed to be 'cut throat' and 'cunning' and 'backstabbing' to climb up the corporate ladder and to gain power. Women do it, and they're called 'cold *******'. So, some women have figured out that they can use their bodies to gain that power simply by taking their shirt off. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Wealth, power, riches etc. all by simply standing and looking pretty.

Hef did this country a great service. He popularized and mainstreamed the beauty of the female form. I don't understand why some people are so afraid of nudity and anything sexual. Uhh, no. Time's have changed. Back in the day, this was true, but not anymore. There are many female crewmembers now, and companies strictly enforce sexual harassment policies. I never flew with a female pilot who wielded any type of porno, and the subject never even came up. Even among all male crews, females were rarely the subject, it was always work and pay rules and industry issues, as well as your general banter, ie sports, hobbies, etc. And in these days of non-discriminatory hiring, the overnight flings are becoming a thing of the past. An attractive young thing as a flight attendant is hard to find, now a days most are either gay, granny, or ghetto (the 3 g's). Not the types that pilots long to fling with. There are still isolated cases of this, but they are far from the norm. For those pilots that do have families, the biggest impact is simply the time away from home and the instability of the job. That is what makes them suffer.
