Their is a currently a bill titled HR 1207 The Federal Reserve Transparency Act (H.R. 1207: Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 (GovTrack.us)). This would allow congress to investigate the Federal Reserve to ensure that their is no wrong doing by the bank which could have put us in our current state.Their is strong opposition from the Fed but I think we as people have the right to know if we are mislead. This bill has over 300 cosigners, only 1 cosigner from RI. Research and form you own opinions, thanks

...with everyone sooo caught up in the health care debate people are just sitting here with no clue as to what is going on. No one has posted anything on the friggin Fed in almost a MONTH!!! We cannot see what is right in front of us because we are slaves to a D or R behind a person's name. The banks are the problem people. Wake up and start thinking for yourself.

Here is a good starting point...Article I Sec IIX of the Consitution gives CONGRESS the power to coin money and regulate its value. Now check what is written on the top of your dollars in your wallet or purse...that is right it says Federal Reserve Note...

Now do some research and try to find out what branch of the federal government "regulates" the Fed, a group of PRIVATE banks...all I will say is good luck trying to find out to what branch of government it belongs...again wake up and start reading for yourself!

The bill has been so watered down that it means nothing if passed.

...yea I see that too...sad it is very sad...but lets keep our heads in the sand and let the banks do whatever they want while we scream about health care reform when at the end of the day the banks run this country!!! But we have to keep trying to get the message out.
