Cant wait for the blame Bush crowd to come into this thread.
And now the idiot is talking about another stimulus to help the "other" stimulus work.
So far, 8 million jobs lost and all that debt to re pay thanks ObamAcorn and his failed ideas.

I do agree that Obama is not doing what he promised to cut the annual deficit in half and is spending money like its nobodies business... but you can't blame the national debt on him alone.
I don't like his policies, but that just isn't fair. He inheriteted a debt in the 3 trillion dollar range.

yall....our crappy economy was a bipartisan job. Everyone saw it coming. No one did anything in order to keep lining the pockets of their financial buddies on wall st.
And to be fair to Bush, he had OTHER problems to worry about. Like keeping America safe from crazy terrorists. He was dealt a big plate as well. History will judge whether Bush was truly a good president or not.

All those unemployed means the vast majority of them have lost their health insurance, and 0bama hopes they will scream for the public option. So creating jobs would be counterproductive to his single payer healthcare insurance agenda.
Fixing it so all private health insurance could cross state lines. like his public option, would also be counterproductive to his single payer healthcare insurance agenda.
TORT reform would also lower health care costs, but that too would be counterproductive to his single payer healthcare insurance agenda.
Getting the medical universities to lower their tuition costs would also lower health care costs, which would be counterproductive to his single payer healthcare insurance agenda.
Which is why he will not do anything to lower costs for private health care in this country, or try to stimulate job creation.
If 0bama has to quadruple the debt and deficit to accomplish his social agenda, so be it. Our deficit, and our debt all take a back seat to his health care agenda, and his global warming carbon tax agenda.

Bush also had a hostile Democratic Party that threatened to cut off funds for the war, so he had to play ball with them on other issues, just to try and win the war.
When was the last time a president had a super majority? 0bama even has a few like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins type republicans to help him get anything passed. If any president had the freedom to fix the economy, it was 0bama, but instead of doing that, 0bama is busy squandering all his clout by pushing his social agendas, which are only succeeding in ballooning the deficit and wrecking our economy.

What happens when you have massive debt on depreciating assets ?
Do you print more money to cover which only increases your debt more ?

Instead of carping all day on this site, you americans need to get off your backsides and start doing some work.
It seems that many of you still haven't cottoned on to the fact that the old days are over.
Finito.
The power base has shifted east : and the only way in which you country can retain some level of economic progress is for each of you to roll up yer sleeves, work harder and work smarter.
We all live in a new paradigm.
