Dems: Investigate Cheney for role in salmon die-off

WASHINGTON — West Coast Democrats called for a hearing Wednesday into the role Vice President Dick Cheney may have played in the 2002 die-off of about 70,000 salmon near the California-Oregon border.

An article in The Washington Post on Wednesday said Cheney played a crucial role in developing a 10-year water plan for the Klamath River that courts later called arbitrary and in violation of the Endangered Species Act. Democrats charged that Cheney's action resulted in the largest adult salmon kill in the history of the West.

Dick Cheney's Crimes Against Humanity

Quote:
Dick Cheney's Crimes Against Humanity

The Illegal Invasion of Iraq

Mass Murder

Prisoner Detention Abuses - Violation of the Geneva Convention

Torture

Extraordinary Rendition

Military Atrocities in Iraq

Cheney's Death Squads

Treason - the Valerie Plame Affair

In Conclusion
So has Cheney committed "crimes against humanity"? The evidence is pretty damning. Of course that's not to say these are the only crimes he committed. There have been a multitude of lesser offenses, such as involvement in the illegal wire-tapping program and unanswered questions over why Halliburton, the company he was ex-CEO of and that made his fortune for him, received $8 billion in contracts from the Bush-Cheney administration for work in Iraq.

Sorry, there are millions of conservatives who respect the man and totally agree with his calling obama on the carpet for his lies.

Deal with it.

Prove it. I do not believe that there are even thousands, let alone millions of human beings on this planet who have any respect for this cold blooded mass murderer.

Isn't an indictment a formal charge?

You're pulling our legs...you must be. If a criminal escapes apprehension and manges to seek assylum in a country without extradition agreements with the USA, does it make the criminal less guilty of the crime? Really, you have to know better than that if you are attempting to defend Cheney. Unless...you are just as convinced of Cheney's guilt as anyone else, but you wil not admit it. That is most likely what we are dealing with here.

There were crimes and there is enough evidence to prosecute Cheney many times over. To point these out to you is futile, because they have been pointed out to you an inordinate amount of times and yet you are still asking.
And the points and actual evidence that refutes your hyperbole has been pointed out a million times.

Name the crimes, show the official charges, testimony, trial and convictions. Until then, it is just really the Left having an aneurysm, and that's about it.

You've been saying for years he would be going to jail - what happened?

Dems have controlled congress since 2006, got the WH now - where is the "trial"?

What does this have to do with Cheney. He's walking around, free as a bird and free to pound on obama.

Can't get any better than that.

Hysterics now. How exactly did he commit mass murder?

Did you see that speech he gave. Lots and lots of applause.

It is just a fact you should try and live with.

I'm sure it's even better now, especially after Cheney said what a lot of Americans are thinking - obama is waffling and dithering.

The polls show they are losing confidence.
