Well, I imagine there was quite a fight over which vaccine producer would secure the most sales from the Government.

I'm sure it had little to do with product merit.

Everyone should look up what a "national emergency" means. Lots of (unconstitutional) executive orders relating to it giving the president dictatorial powers. Don't take my word for it either, just do a search...

Flu happens every year and kills plenty. Color me very suspicious about this whole thing...

I've had flu many times, and this is not a regular flu virus going around. And I would have cheerfully belittled anyone who said that, but know I know better. Get the vaccine, don't f around, you don't want this.

This opportunity isn't lost on the new president and his team. "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste," Rahm Emanuel, Mr. Obama's new chief of staff, told a Wall Street Journal conference of top corporate chief executives this week.

Get ready, here comes another one.

Here..the AP puts out the same headlines.
Does that meet with your approval ?
Obama declares swine flu a national emergency - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091024/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_obama_swine_flu - broken link)

If you read any of the articles on the MSM site of your choosing you will see that the President made that declaration, not Fox network.

The President of the United States actually SAID "national emergency".

So you should really be angry at the President for trying to make a panic out of this.
