Considering our high unemployment and the disappearance of many jobs in the United States, should NAFTA be renegotiated?

I didn't vote. NAFTA is not the root of all our offshore problems.

No, but we do lose a higher quantity of manufacturers to Mexico than we do to Asia. Most of it stems from environmental regulations Clinton put into NAFTA, which could not be enforced in Mexico. This gave many companies unrestricted trade in terms of almost no tariffs, with the addition of no environmental laws or EPA breathing down their necks. Not to mention the low transportation costs and huge labor savings by outsourcing to Mexico as opposed to Asia.

To late to renegotiate it.

Sorry.

Yes, get rid of it. Also get rid of free trade elsewhere too, especially with China.

It's not too late to scrap it.
There are plenty of ways we can rebuild our manufacturing industry. Currently more of the worlds solar panels are being built in China than the U.S.
I don't know how this is helping the U.S. with our green jobs goal but it looks like China is benefitting more from the stimulus than we are.

NAFTA doesn't negotiate pay scales.

College educated Chinese programmers are earning top dollar of $25K year.
Imagine what the Chinese manufacturing labor is earning ?

No..the US cannot compete anymore. You're about 30 years too late in complaining.

If you were to bring back mfg that has to be part of the picture.
Why do you think they all left the US to begin with ?

Cheap labor - little to no regulations.
