Bloomberg a Republican please... He is basically an Independent.
He is going to win reelection easily too.

Stop. Mike Bloomberg is not a Republican. No conservative Republican would ever be elected Mayor of New York City.

He sure isn't a Democrat, actually he was originally elected Mayor of New York City as a Republican but I guess like everyone else he quit when the Limburgers took over

Yeah, there's virtually nothing left of what used to be the Republican Party. William F. Buckley and Barry Goldwater are gone and have been replaced by such intellectual titans as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. The fastest growing party in America is "Not Republican"...

Well, unless and until it suits him. Then he throws his friends under the bus.

He seems to forget also that he's only mayor of NYC, not of Vermont, PA, VA, NC, etc., where he also tries to exert influence illegally.

It's really a mixed bag. It can't all be blamed on taxes.

For example the migration of New Yorkers to Florida.. well that constantly occurs. WE are seeing baby boomers hit retirement age and so of couse those retiring are more likely to relocate to Florida.

I moved because of high PROPERTY taxes on Long Island. IN addition EVERYTHINg was more expensive in NY.. down the line.. (again Long Island)

NYC, while it may have a higher income tax, has a relatively LOW property tax (and that includes brooklyn, Queens, Bronx) than the outlying suburbs. BUT EVERYTHING within NYC is more expensive across the board.. again, not all related to tax.
