SPLC: Stand Strong Against Hate

"Racism is a serious problem in America. Fueled by immigration fears, the economic crisis and the election of a black president, racist hate groups increased their numbers again in 2008. The Southern Poverty Law Center has documented a staggering 926 hate groups operating in our country — a more than 50% increase since 2000."

The Southern Poverty Law Center has absolutely no credibility. Morris "Sleeze" Dees is a pervert. The transcripts of his divorce trial are online. Check out his wife's testimony!!

SPLC may have no credibility with you, but YOU, my friend, are not the final word. What on earth gives you the idea that your opinion on this subject is all the encompassing authority?

Have you seen the transcripts where of testimony showing there was a plot to murder Morris Dees because of his work with SPLC against hate groups? The only reason the killing was not carried out was because an FBI informant divulged the plot before they had a chance to act on it.

You got a transcript of Dees' wife's testimony in any divorce, put up a link and I'll read it. However, I am not particularly interesting in his "love" life. I'm interested in his legal work against hate groups. His success in that field speaks for itself.

Please tell us what organization tracking hate groups would you consider "credible."

Dees is a sleezeball bigoted liar pushing the left winger aganda. The left wingers will not face the fact that a great deal of the country will never support hussein obama's socialism or his putting socialists, marxists, communists, crazy wacko scientists, Mao lovers and America haters in the white house.

The left and even hussein obama loving blacks call blacks that do not support hussein obama and "uncle tom". The left is onthe attack against anyone that does not tingle up their leg for their messiah.

Not hard to determine exactly who might have certain biases these days. Just bring up the name of Morris Dees or SPLC. The creatures start to come out of the woodwork.

We don't have mind control yet, but when we do we can get rid of hate.

Until then... hate whoever you want, doesn't make it right but as long as you don't act out on it I think it's normal and perfectly o.k.

Everyone isn't going to love you, and frankly people shouldn't like you or dislike you based on a superficial quality, but hey, many people are superficial.

so what.

This OP has an agenda. I thought I remembered reading something similar and sure enough, he posted this a month ago basically using an incident in Arizona to say the same thing he is saying here. Remember, there are extremists on both sides. You have people who are in denial about racism and then you have the "America is racist" crowd. I'm guessing the OP is going to post one of these a month. He will find a racist incident and then turn that into his usual "The Southern Poverty Law Center says racism is up...rant"

If you notice, his previous thread was closed!

Dees has done some good work over the years.

Having said that, are we to be surprised that a bunch of Klansmen types don't like Obama? I do not like them, but they were here long before he was born and will be here for some time yet. Their existence did not exactly sway the election- he won handily, no?

Austin- we can both agree that these are some serious udesirables. But they are the fringe- the exception rather than the norm. Surly you can see that? Implying otherwise is dishonest.

why do libs always bring the race card into play? Can't we just move on? Most of the people in this country would not vote against a person because of his/her color alone. If you believe all this crap I have 3 lots I would love to sell you in the NM desert: really cheap!!!!

The website depends on visitors to submit supposed hate incidents. Does anyone really taking the data as accurate? You know garbage in - garbage out.
