Adults should have put a sign on that said I am a democrat this year so each kid is going to have to pay a tax of 10 cents a candy to pay for someone else to get candy also.

Let's get this straight. Freeloaders walk around asking for free candy without doing anything for it? Is that right?

Oh, wait, it's "trick OR treat", meaning that if you don't hand out treats, they'll play a trick on you, right. So it's more like a bribe or protection racket?

I'm surprised our conservatives out there don't want to get rid of the holiday entirely.

DANG ! ! ! I plumb forgot it was halloween and had nothing but pizza. And sure wasn't going to give that away during the Texas - OSU game. So, knock knock knock on the door...

Something funky looking at the door, about six feet tall. I just said sorry, I'll turn out the light. And shut the door.

Was a good ball game.

And because they paid some taxes that provide maybe 1/10 the cost of a service they use (schools, etc), they say they deserve it! So for every piece of candy they give out, they expect to get 10 more.
