The talking about "race" is what divides us. There is no reason to differentiate. In my opinion, the insertion of race into anything is designed to distract us from how bad we are being screwed by the upper 0.1% of this country.

Everybody is of mixed races and based on the Sharpton principle of one drop making you black, then the whole world is black.

Hispanic is not a race though.

Hispanic is not a race.

What many people call hispanic is someone that looks a lot like a Native American. That makes sense because North, Central, and South America were inhabited by the original Americans until the Europeans came on board.

But, wait!

The original inhabitants of the Americas came from Asia 12-13 thousand years ago when Alaska was connected to Asia by land. The original native Americans are Asian.

But, the Asians got to Asia by migrating from Africa.

And the Europeans landed in Europe by migrating from Africa.

The original humans came from Africa.

The term "race" is often mistakenly used in place of culture, ethnic group, religion, or even language.

All human beings are of African ancestry.

Hispanic ain't a race. Word was 1 of Bull Connor's friends during Jim Crow was Leander Perez, a nasty white supremacist of Spanish family. He'd be considered "Hispanic" in 2015.

In any event, based on this post:

I used the Black statistic (which you cannot refute) as Whites are guilty of the enslavement of Blacks in the Americas. There is no historical context in America of Whites enslaving any race other than Blacks. In fact, in the past 500 years, there are few instances of predominately White societies enslaving anything but Blacks. A close example is the Spanish invasion of Mexico. That, however, was more of an outright invasion and slaughter than a long-term practice of enslavement. Even the British occupation of India was more empire-building than enslavement. Even the treatment of Native Americans, while despicable in many ways, was not slavery.

In recent times, there are numerous examples of forced slavery other than in America and other than at the hand of Whites. South America, Mayan and Aztec cultures, the Moors enslavement of the Spanish, Japan's occupation of China, as well as African tribal factions enslaving millions of fellow Blacks. Practically speaking, when one speaks of Whites enslaving anyone, the immediate thought is of America and Blacks. My comments were directed accordingly.

Ironically, in America today, the largest "enslaved group" is the Mexican illegal immigrant. Forced to work for sub-standard wages, he is exploited for political gain not by a race, but by liberal ideology. It is in fact liberals though their politics and policies who have ensured the continued exploitation of the Mexican migrant worker. Every reasonable effort to deal with the issue has been opposed by liberals. Despite the rhetoric that "rich Republicans" want their cheap labor, the fact remains that Democrats value illegals as voting block more than they value the freedom of the illegal Mexican. If the Democrats were concerned about the plight of the illegal, they would not oppose, for example, E-verify which would make it harder to hire illegals, and subsequently end their exploitation. They would not oppose laws designed to make it harder for Americans to exploit them.
NOT true:

The Irish Slave Trade

Mexican illegal alien: he's free to go back home, so calling their kind "slaves" is an insult to those people who WERE enslaved.

Which absolves no one involved in the practice and is close to being a pointless statement. And, I would say that enslaving people based on race is more heinous than for virtually any other reason.
