You talk about Obama's disdain when he's trying to mend relationships that Bush destroyed.

Well, applying that logic, we might as well eliminate "topics" in their entirity and collapse the entire "Political discussion forum" into one single thread!!

"Distain" would be starting a draft, in my opinion. You know, more cannon fodder to keep the war marching, chugging, choking, spewing blood. Some people want that. Withdrawal scares the pants off some people. The US "face saving" reflex has grown tiresome.

The only thing I see that could even remotely be considered showing disdain towards the military is his not issuing a plan of action and providing troops and materials needed to carry out the plan for Afghanistan or pulling the troops out of Afghanistan entirely. All I want him to do is one or the other. Either is better than leaving the troops in the field with no plan and no additional supplies or troops.

So I got the wrong Gibbs. The point is, the spinless coward refuses to talk to his commanders. That's leadership you can count on...

Hilarious, since the first thing you did was take something out of context and submit that as a "fact".

Enlighten the readers please as to what this is so that I can address it, including "correcting" my error if merited.

Clarification: I am not looking for evidence such as "Bush obviously has terrible disdain for them because he sent them to die in a stupid war..." etc. etc.

Rather, I am looking for specific examples of disrespectful actions and words.

For example, he has clearly exhibited disdain for American religion (the horribly condescending clinging to "guns and religion" remark)

Please stick to providing facts and analysing them, not "rhetoric" (partisan name-calling on both sides).

Not as much disdain as I get from self proclaimed Patriots on this board
