How did anyone lose a job due to the stimulus "not working"? Are you saying they would have kept their job if there had been no stimulus?
I personally have good health care, and I applaud passage of the House bill and hope Obama will have a bill to sign soon. I'm paying for health care for Iraqis, why not for Americans? My household income is just under 100K, I don't feel so stingy that I can't help out people of lesser means. I have to pay taxes for wars that kill people for no good reason - why not have some of my money go to actually help people?

It's not only that you don't know anything....it's that you don't know any limits.
And YOU are old enough to receive medicare benefits, as well as social security retirement, AND VA benefits, and have been elgible to receive those benefits for many years. And, guess what? The world has not come to an end because of those things.

I served my country in the military without any thought of getting VA assistance. I paid into Social Security for other people for nearly 60 years. I never asked for Medicare but for some reason the law says that at 65 we have to have it and that insurance companies aren't allowed to provide without it from that time on. It was Dems who passed both those horrendous laws, wasn't it?
Me either, I will not pay a dime to pay for losers to get free health care because they are to many welfare twinkies on the rest of us.
I already have a plan in place to lose tons of money next year on my taxes so I will get refunds like most liberals do that pay ZERO taxes.
Oh yea, hand out the free HC and it wont be coming out of my pocket.
