I'm not denying that one has the freedom to vote, but when both parties violate the Constitution as they are repeatedly and on an almost daily basis, voting becomes irrelevant. The heterosexual population makes up the majority in this country and can assure the homosexual population never receives marriage rights. Good luck with that "voting" idea!

Freedom to not fund stem sell research if we dont want to
Freedom to pay the CEOs what I deem acceptable for companies I invest in
Freedom to allow Ford to compete fairly with GM
Freedom to sell my home for a "fair" price without the price being manipulated by the government
Freedom to negotiate an employee contract to pay what we deem is fair and offer benefits we deem fair.
They want to remove my freedom of choice to live without health insurance
Some people have even given up their freedoms to control their ac units in their own home in exchange for a check.

And the list continues, but the list OP's question is flawed because if you think these are newly "freedoms" being taken away, its not. With evey bill written into law, one or more freedom is removed because thats how our nation is governed. Free to do what you want until the laws says you cant.

Everyone of these involves taking away a freedom
Bills: Senate - OpenCongress

Not all of them negative but we are talking as a matter of fact, not the benefits of them.

Obama took away my gun rights. Well not yet, but he will.

Obama wants government control of my health care. It hasn't happened yet, but it will. Just you wait.

Obama is trying to take away the freedom of the press. There's no proof of this, but he isn't a fan of Fox News so it has me concerned.

Obama is going to raise my taxes. Even though I make below $100,000 a year, I'm sure he is planning on raising my taxes. He's a liberal.

No, of course not. However, didn't mom always tell you that two wrongs don't make a right?

The stimulus package was forced on some states and with that came demands that the states fund long term programs. Not everything is about personal rights. Some of it is exerting too much power over states.

Oh yeah, banks being forced to take bailout funds.

Prices going up due to massive gov't spending means a loss of freedom. Freedom to pay for groceries, your utility bills, your mortgage, to pay tuition, to go on vacation, etc. Prices are going up -- I have definitely noticed at the stores.

Then you should know what this thread is about. Your rhetoric could use a different one.
