"In the United States … it's about survival of the fittest, survival of those with money over those perhaps who don't have money," he said. "Here, it's much better. I think the system here is equal for people."
The article also says for every one vaccine we have here, they have four in the U.K.
Of course no lines..that vaccine is being given out by "invitation only".
I saw that as well, requesting and then scheduling appointments for people based on a priority system is a hell of a lot different from the made rush for the vaccine here in the US.
This statement from the article also peaked my interest:

Try that here and you'd have riots.
That is how it is already done here, actually.
Priority populations - young children, pregnant women, people with underlying health conditions - are allowed to attend H1N1 vaccination clinics. Others will be turned away until more is available.
I don't know if it is being done that way all over the country, but that's how my county is doing it. As well they should be.
Because, f you're NOT one of those populations, you shouldn't give a crap anyway.
Hey, I'm IN that population that could be getting the vaccine - I have asthma. But I already had swine flu, and at the SAME TIME I had bacterial bronchitis, and guess what? I'M ALIIIIIVE!
If I had it to do again, I STILL wouldn't have gotten the vaccine.
America needs to SACK UP and quit being selfish and afraid of a few sniffles.

Those people really did get invitations ..appointments if you like.
That is not what is happening here.

You missed my ENTIRE point.
And anyway, invitations vs. priority lists, same idea.
