I said "with muslims" because my interactions with them have always been positive. Just as long as they don't decide how I should live. But I could say that for any religious group.

Who ignores the teachings? Not every muslim group ignores the teachings. In saudi Arabia they don't ignore the teachings. That is the birthplace of Muhammad. That is also the birthplace of most of the extremists.

We aren't at war basically because they know they can't win, what good would a country, any country in the middle-east have for declaring war on the west?

The truth is, why do people think that Christians are just as likely to be extremists as Muslims. Christians that are extremists are actually going against the teachings of Christ, but Muslims who are extremists are actually following the teachings of Muhammad. Christians don't get 72 virgins in heaven if they blow themselves up trying to kill the infidel.

If you believe that Christianity and Islam are the same, you are definitely drinking the kool-aid that the multiculturalists and other media types are passing around.
