Did that video reveal to you some deeply guarded secret? Did you not study government in school? Have you ever taken an economics class? I haven't been sleeping, and scary sounding videos that describe things known by every studious fifth-grader just aren't my cup of tea. Sorry, Hot. I already know how government funds itself, and I don't scare easily.

It may be known by the studious fifth-grader,,but when these kids grow up they tend to forget. This video was a reminder is all. If it was not beneficial to you, fine. But there is no need to knock it. Rather, why don't you post something constructive, or show your own video that you have seen, so as to teach?

I, for one, WAS asleep. I studied history, but it never sunk in how valuable it truly was. Those who forget the past, tend to repeat it. For those of us who have had the blinders removed, need to tell the rest of the populace. Don't you agree?

And I apologize for my remark. I thought you were one who just trolled and bashed just for sh*ts and giggles. There seems to be alot of that these days.

When kids grow up, they pay taxes. They don't forget.

The video was not constructive. That's my point. It may serve as confirmation bias to anti-government types, but to the rest of us, "Yeah, I pay taxes. The government taxes, borrows and spends. Next lesson."

I prefer intelligent discussion. Trying to scare me with cries of "The government takes your money at gunpoint!" is fit for the Saturday night B horror movie program on TV.

Sure they do. Otherwise they would question the very need for taxes.

Next lesson? Are you a socialist?

Try giving some then. Otherwise you profess that which you are. Sheeple.

That wasn't the point of the video. The point was that Americans are being sold. If you can refute the video fine. If not, go back to your hole.

Then you agree the video was not groundbreaking.

No, I'm not a socialist? What does elementary knowledge of our government and economy have to do with socialism?

Sorry. I'll make sure to use intelligent terms like "sheeple" next time.

Go back to my hole? Would that be the sheeple hole?

Americans aren't being sold. We're being taxed. Big difference. What I disagree with is not what the video claims - I've already stated that it's common knowledge - I disagree with the alarmist rhetoric. Claiming that I'm being sold is meant to instill fear. It's childish nonsense. Do you think government started borrowing money yesterday?

It was not meant to be groundbreaking. It was meant to enlighten those who might not know otherwise.

Because you must agree with the policies, of which, they are socialist.

When you follow, you are led. Hense, sheeple.

Sure, if you prefer. Doesn't matter to me. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. There is no middle ground.

No there isn't. If the government borrows money from other countries, and puts the fruits of your labor up for collateral, then you are being sold. Let me ask you a question. What happens when the government defaults?

This is irrelevant to the conversation. It is not meant to instill fear. It is meant to get people off their asses, and do something about this socialist government that has taken over our Republic. I don't care how long they have been doing it. The time has come for them to stop, step down, and restore what the founders have given us. The united States of America.

Here is a video maybe more to your liking....lol.
