America leading the world by example
Quote:
The CIA built one of its secret European prisons inside an exclusive riding academy outside Vilnius, Lithuania, a current Lithuanian government official and a former U.S. intelligence official told ABC News this week.

Outside Lithuania the CIA used a former barn to interrogate al Qaeda members.
Where affluent Lithuanians once rode show horses and sipped coffee at a café, the CIA installed a concrete structure where it could use harsh tactics to interrogate up to eight suspected al-Qaeda terrorists at a time. A full report on the prison can be seen on ABC's World News with Charles Gibson tonight.

Joe. Get over it. It's clear that your hatred for Bush is the reason for this thread. Any thinking-person knows that the CIA has, and will continue to have, secret facilities to carry out their mission. No matter what your Messiah Obama tells you.

Well, Bush is out of office. But others that were aware of these things are still holding political seats. (Pelosi being one of the more prominent)

What do you propose we do about Pelosi?

Anyone that had anything to do with this scheme should be tried before a grand jury. Pelosi's role was minor compared to Bush and Cheney so I would say give her a reduced sentence in exchange for testifying against them. Same with everyone involved.

Was this place used in the last ten months?

Quote:
"The activities in that prison were illegal," said human rights researcher John Sifton.

"They included various forms of torture, including sleep deprivation, forced standing, painful stress positions."
He got all that info from looking at the place eh?

Sleep deprivation and making them stand up all day is now torture? What about asking them the same question a bunch of times, or playing Frank Zappa's music, is that torture too?

Thank you. I think someone told me that only 15% of foriegn policy rules change over administrations.

CIA is above the president in my opinion. Regardless of who it is.

How convenient. In your world, Republicans Bush and Cheney get the electric chair treatment, but Democrat Pelosi gets a slap on the wrist.

You don't hate torture. You hate Bush and the Republicans. Do you realize how stupidly partisan you look?

It doesn't take long for a liberals' true colors to shine, as evidenced by this post.

The difference between "hate Bush" threads and "hate Obama" threads is that the only defense liberals have is to blame Bush to cover for Obama's failures. The "hate Obama" threads simply point out how badly this President is performing. But there's really nothing to point out. It's there for all to see.

Of course not, 0bama has them read their Miranda rights, assigns them a lawyer and confiscates all evidence, right there on the battlefield. It a new way to criminalize war, and turn it into one big crime scene.

0bama is singlehandedly eliminating the fog of war, no more chaos, no more disorder. Heck, we even have ballistic experts collecting all the weapons, shell casings and expended rounds of ammunition, to tie each terrorist's and soldier's weapon to the scene of the crime, oh and finger prints and hair follicles too.
