I can't believe this. Now, you can't even call somebody on wellfare a recipient, they had to come up with a PC term for them. Liberals live in a fantasy world where everybody is "equal" and nobody ever gets hurt. PATHETIC!!

You know what sucks....uncompassionate people who think the world is all about me, makes for a very selfish world. But they go to church and feel better about themselves so I guess its ok. Wake up and realize not everyone is given a fair shake in the world and sometimes people need a hand. That does not mean we should step on them and make them feel inferior.

Before you start on your usual tactics no I have never received any public assistance. I just have a heart. Yes I work hard to pay my bills etc but realize in a civilized world we need to help people or we really are not civilized are we?

LOL! Seriously, you think that is real? Here's what's pathetic! The fact that some folks (you) don't get the joke!

You didn't understand me. I have no problems with people that may need assistance at some point, that is what these programs are for, however, this whole idea that we can't call someone on wellfare a "recipient" because it may hurt their feelings is RIDICULOUS! I would never call someone a leech but the term Mr Hugh Topian uses is RIDICULOUS!

What does your opinions on compassion have to do with the PC police?

You qualify your statements in the second paragraph that you have never received benefits as if you are fearful people will make that stereotypical assumption. However, in your first paragraph, you make out people that are unsupportive of social programs as selfish, uncompassionate, religious people. Seems to me you got your head wrapped around stereotypes a bit too tightly.

I was wondering who the one person was that listened to that station was. Baker isn't the 13th, 14th morning host this year?
