Sorry of this has already been posted.

Turns out the RNC's Health Insurance Plan has been covering abortions since 1991.

Regardless of what side you are one, you have to admit this is pretty funny!

The GOP has no intention of doing anything but paying lip service to the "pro-life" movement. If they were really going to take some action on this issue, they would have done it when they held the White House and both houses of congress. Instead, they did nothing. They use the pro-life folks as political pawns, nothing more. The GOP caters to corporate interests, not citizens.

You're absolutely right. The Democrats cater to the pro-gay marriage and anti-war crowd but do nothing. Totally with you there my man.

Do what they say, not what they do.

Medicaid covers abortions as well since 1981...though under life threatening conditions, rape and incest. If every life is sacred then no one can do it period (except under the first), it's not really the babies fault how it came around. No one has really lobbied against that either.

It's not my body either way, it's not my final choice in the end.

Is it a private plan, or a public plan?

If anything, this disproves the claim on the left that the Republicans are a bunch of intolerant religious zealots, if their own RNC health care plan allows for "choice".

Well not really, since the minute it became public the RNC took out the option.
