The great climate change science scandal - Times Online

Quote:
The storm began with just four cryptic words. “A miracle has happened,” announced a contributor to Climate Audit, a website devoted to criticising the science of climate change.

“RC” said nothing more — but included a web link that took anyone who clicked on it to another site, Real Climate.

There, on the morning of November 17, they found a treasure trove: a thousand or so emails sent or received by Professor Phil Jones, director of the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
This gives an excellent chronology of the whistle blower emails and also a little bit of the history of "skepticism", including the debunked Hocley Stick.

Hollywood conservatives (yes, there are some) have called upon the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to rescind the prestigious, profitable gold Oscar statuette that it gave ex-Vice President Al Gore two years ago for the environmental movie "An Inconvenient Truth."

UN panel promises to investigate leaked 'climategate' e-mails - Times Online

Apparently this dingbat has changed his tune.

Quote:
Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), said that the allegations raised by leaked e-mails in the so-called "climategate" controversy were too serious to ignore.

"We will certainly go into the whole lot and then we will take a position on it," he told BBC Radio 4's The Report programme. "We certainly don’t want to brush anything under the carpet. This is a serious issue and we will look into it in detail.
Oh, sure you do. Investigating your own behavior and actions will end up with a predictable conclusion.

It seems like the only ones left who are in denial is obama, his EPA and climate advisers.
