Yup, once --again-- "pc" in Minnesota is making the news. This time over the upcoming Christmas season.

KSTP TV reported a woman principal in a Lakeville ( suburb of Minneapolis) set forth guidelines in her school.

No decorations with the colors of green or red, Christmas greetings exchanged between students are recommended to be------" happy nature's season"

KSTP showed the huge stack of angry letters and copies of e-mail she recieved from angry parents and citizens.

At a crowded meeting of angry people, she apologized and said she made a mistake, but did so out of fear of the law if she allowed anything resembling Christmas into the school.

"pc" taken to an extreme !

( and all because she was scared of " the law" getting after the school )

"Happy Holidays" is now not within the confines of the law?

This principle is an idiot. For pete's sake, stand up for what you believe in.

That "happy nature's season" makes me think of the way that the UN is attempting to make rocks, animals, trees and other living and non-living things equal to humans as is documented by things that come from the UN's Agenda 21. They are after us and all this PC brought on by progressives will be the undoing of all of us soon.

I am sure that there are all kinds of school administrators who are afraid they may get their school in trouble for allowing traditional Christmas celebrations in their schools.

BTW, do you have your Christmas card, with the word on it, selected to send to the ACLU headquarters this year. Mine is all ready to mail out to them since they are the hardest PC pushers I know of.

I thought Minnesota was populated entirely by white Lutherans of Norwegian descent because people with darker skin die of vitamin D deficiency... Who is going to get offended?

Actually, there are some Swedes there as well, also German Catholics! LOL! Minneapolis (though maybe not Lakewood) is pretty diverse.

Isn't this offensive to Muslims in the school?

Never mind, the principal reversed her stand. KSTP TV - Minneapolis and St. Paul - Lakeville Principal Reverses Stand on Holiday Decor (http://kstp.com/news/stories/S1266925.shtml?cat=1 - broken link)

Move along, nothing to see here.
