My Way News - "Going Rogue" is going big

Quote:
NEW YORK (AP) - "Going Rogue" is going big.

Publisher HarperCollins said Friday that Sarah Palin's memoir sold 300,000 copies its first day, among the best openings ever for a nonfiction book.

"Going Rogue" was released this week and its print run already has been increased from 1.5 million copies to 2.5 million, HarperCollins announced Friday. Palin, the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate, is in the midst of a nationwide promotional tour.
Huge sales!

I am not surprised.

1) People like fiction.
2) There is a small minority of people in the USA who are brainwashed by Fox and will buy any crap Palin, and her cronies throw at them.
3) She is a controversial figure and people like buying books from them; OJ's book sold well too.

In a country where celebrity news, and "reality" show reign supreme, this is some sort of meaningful statement?

Yeah, she'll never run for president. Too much like work. Why work when you can hire someone to write a book, spend not one more second than your contracted amount of time signing the books for the yokels who buy them and take a day off work to get your autograph (leaving some of them in your dust...or mud, as the case may be) and (likely) parlay it all into a talk show that will rival Beck and Limbaugh? Yep. She's a rock star! She'll never have to work again.

Good Evening,

Evidently Palin's book must provide some lively and informative reading material !

Interestingly enough I am disappointed that this very popular and capable lady
did not remain in the political arena.

I would have prefered that she completed her term as Govenor of Alaska and then
campaigned for higher office.

Indeed a most intriguing lady whom possess enormous potential !

Perhaps this lady is destined to acheive what the ladies Clinton and Ferraro could not.

Good Luck Sarah Palin on your book sales and within the political arena !

Thanks / Lamar

Calling her intelligent is insulting to intelligent women.
