Arianna Huffington Says Glenn Beck Should Be Excluded from Freedom of Speech, liberal blog co-founder likens popular Fox host’s show to shouting ‘fire in a crowded theater.’

Despite what you think of the man and his opinions, you can always turn the channel.

I hate to think this is actually how the typical lefty feels about Beck/First Amendment. Would any on the left like to comment?

No different than the conservatives who shout down rational talk about health care or who require books be taken out of school libraries or who refuse to allow students to learn about gay marriage, same sex attraction, birth control and on and on. But let's not forget Alabama State Senator (GOP) Allen who wanted to ban Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, Gore Vidal, Alice Walker and even some Shakespeare from college libraries. I guess next will be gay composers, artists and on and on.

Why is it the school's job to teach about gay marriage or anything else besides reading, writing and arithmetic? That is why our kids are failing.

Huffington is just a parasite...she married a wealthy American, becomes a citizen and divorces him...and now she is bashing everybody who isn't a socialist like where she came from...

What is wrong with the people...Navratilova a teenis player from Tjech republic came here on assylum away from the communist, and than when she strikes it rich starts to bash Bush and every body who is not a socialist...why don't they go back and spread their own money amongst all the other people here and live where they were born and see how good that will feel.

This is an easy one to solve. Just look up all the hate speech on her site about Bush. She will have tons of it. Than ask why her web site is still operating.

Of course, that will go right over their heads since free speech is ok for them but not for others who disagree with them.

I had a gay man who later died of AIDs as my 1st and 2nd Grade teacher. Never once did I hear anything about his personal life. I only know he was gay because he died when I was a teenager.

There's more to school than just math, reading and writing. There's also science, social studies, the arts, and foreign languages.

Our kids are failing because THEIR PARENTS ARE FAILING THEM. How many 8 year olds have cell phones, their own TVs, their own video game systems, their own computers full of games, etc.? How many of those kids receive homework help from their parents every night? Trust me, as a coach and former teacher, I see how many of these kids may receive financial support at home but they don't get any academic support.

You have a right to your own cable show to spread hate rhetoric and fearmongering?

I did not know that. I thought you just had a right to free speech.

So in this bizzarre World you live in....people are not allowed to use their free speech rights to encourage corporations to stop spreading hate speech?

Arianna Hufington said nothing about using the laws or the Government to shut him down. She compared his speech to crying fire in a crowded movie theater.

She said his rhetoric is irresponsible.

It's the individuals who remain tuned in to the fear mongering SOB and take him seriously that concerns me.
