They've been trying to keep him above 50% for about a week. I guess they couldn't fiddle with party Id any longer.

This is the 4th poll that has him under 50 - Fox, Rasmussen, Gallup, Quinnipiac.

He took a dump 2 days after Holder announced his decision.

And then with all the reports about the stimulus phony numbers, it might go lower still.

And I believe he'll continue to take a dump as long as he and his Administration continue to push unpopular ideas on people who have plenty of time to sit at home (ie. the unemployed) and stew on the nonsense that this Administration and Democrats keep cultivating.

All these extremely pricey bills, high unemployment, his ideology, the war and a completely whacked Congress..... that has the worst approval of all........just adds up to a continuation for Obama to slide further in the polls, IMO.
HOW far.......remains to be seen, but a significant drop could still loom on the horizon.

If unemployment rates suddenly head downward, California and about 45 other states are miraculously saved from being broke, the RE housing crisis HAS recovered completely and the overall health of the economy has SHOWN CLEAR indication of recovery and mass job creation at the national level......and FAST....maybe the polls will reflect it and his approval will rebound too.

Well.....the above AIN'T gonna happen!

Nothing so far would indicate any bounce back in the polls for him, in the near future.
NOTHING.

Lame duck status awaits him patiently.
2010 awaits Congress.

Reagan had the same approval rating 1 year into his term. Interesting to see if he can make a second term, or not. So far I am not impressed with Obama, but he is doing better than Bush did, but maybe this isn't a good comparison since Bush was the worst president in American history.

Greeting's ,

Yes the approval rating for the President is decreasing ..... and in all likelyhood shall continue to fall !

The American People are at last beginning to pay very close attention to what if anything the President actually accomplishes and not so much to all the continuous talking he does ..... and the results have been acutely disappointing !

This is the President whom bowed ridiculously low to some the worlds leaders on some of his latest "Globe Trotting" adventures ..... and of course the end results were that these foreign leades are not returning the bow at this or at anytime in the future !

America is truly hurting for honest, experienced, and resolute elected political representation !

We must do all within our power to elect and retain via re-election those among us whom are truly qualified for political leadership of the America Nation !

We must never , ever allow ourselves to endure the "Unprecedented Washington Political Nightmare" of the last 8+ years to ever repeat itself ..... and that includes no more long winded " Jr. Senators with virtually no experience sitting in the Oval Office ..... ever again ! Enough !

Thank You / Lamar

On a similar note, no one though there could be a worse Fed chairman than Greenspan. Then Bush and Obama gave us Bernanke.

Do not think so. Bush will go down in history as a good President.

All of them make mistakes and he did, but he did not do what Carter and now Obama did to America.

Carter and Obama are running neck and neck as the two worst of all time.

And when another 6-8 months passes and Obama continues to destroy America, his ratings are in the low 40's and Americans become rebellious towards him, you will see what I mean.

Obama has all the tools to become even worse then Carter and that is really bad.

Even after 11 months, Obama has done more harm to American then Bush did in 8 years.
