FYI, conservative does not equal Christian anymore that liberal equals atheist.

They were quite rowdy, but I don't remember any calls for overthrowing the government. Got any references?

I have more than a clue.

And the right of the people to protest actions of their government is allowed.

Note that I did not suggest a violent overthrow.

IMO one of the first things we are going to see is more "marches" on Washington. More people contacting their representatives.

I believe you are going to see massive withholding of tax monies from the government - and letting the IRS prosecute will go forward - a good thing.

IMO, many representatives from the Congress will be voted out next year. In massive quantities.

And last - and I hope it does not come to this - people - armed civilians, taking to the streets in this nation. I'd suggest that no one dismiss this possibility.

Yes, I did two tours in Vietnam, my own and Dick Cheyneys

Not all protests but when they got to the point of advocting insurrection or mutiny by the troops , you bet.
Unfortunately Carter gave them amnesty

By any chance, are you aware of anyone being charged with treason during that era? Just curious
