You are only allowed billboards that the libs AGREE with...don't you know that. If the billboard said that George Bush was a devil......well that would be okay....if the billboard said abortion was a "great" thing.......well that would be okay.......if the billboard said legalize millions of illegals......that would be okay (they are future votes you know and the libs have been paying for votes for years)....if the billboard said that the military was evil......that would be okay.......government (Republicans, Conservatives, Democrats, and Liberals) SHOULD be put on notice that we are tired of the tax, tax, tax, tax, spend, spend, spend, spend policies that are going to cripple this country and burden our children for YEARS to come.......
Is it going to be something as stupid as the "tea parties" again? I mean, we're talking 5th grade history lesson here; these guys were totally oblivious.

Your post is perfect example of abject ignorance. I think the American we, "this segment of the public" (which are the majority) understand our history very well.
The Boston Tea Party was the result of tax upon tax being heaped on the American colonists until they had had enough. In what may have been the first organized protest in our history, against over taxation by a tyranical government, the tea was dumped into the Boston Harbor.
It is entirely appropriate that Americans today protesting the out of control spending and over taxation by this administration, and total lack of representation by our electied representatives (If you think they are acting in your interests, you are naive) as well as the total disregard for the Constitution, have called these assemblies, "Tea Parties".
Under the Constitution, we have the right to assemble and to be heard. The rest of the world does not think we are idiots, because many other peoples of the world have no such right, and their government simply sends in the military to shoot and kill them. Most recently in Iran, and perhaps you have forgotten the Tianamen Squrare Masacre of 1989 in China.
The rest of the world (in case you have not listened to or read any commentary coming out of other contries) is wondering why we are persuing the failed policies of the socialist European contries. They do think we are idiots for electing Barack Obama, the clown going around the world acting as some kind of god, pretending to be a leader. The world is laughing at this clown. The man is clueless, and they know it.
I think it is you who needs a history lesson. It is obviouis you do not understand what is taking place, you do not recognize that the Constitution is being trampled (totally ignored) by this administration and this Democrat controlled Congress. Pelosi recently answered a reporter who questioned her about where she found the "Constitutional authority" for what they are doing with, "Are you serious?". They don't give a damn about the Constitution. They don't give a damn about the American people.
I should also add that (you spoke of the "Tea Parties" in the past tense) that "Tea Parties" are still being held across the country, and they are growing larger all the time. They are not going to end until our government listens.
Great billboard. It should become permanent and it should be mandatory to have at least 1 in each town across America. That would be to remind us why our country was founded and why big government regardless of which political party is in control is dangerous.

During the Bush years, I don't recall ever seeing a bb (or a photo of a bb) that stated Bush was a devil; or that abortion is "great"; or that the military is evil; etc.
Wow! There is no question that was brash. But hey, it is just some Americans expressing their freedom of speech, given to them by the very country they seem to be mad at.

Who said the government? Are you just too small to understand grassroots? I know some people love large government, being told what to say, what to eat, what to think. I just happen to not be one of them. How about you?
"If Steps 1 and 2 fail? PREPARE FOR WAR" - nothing subtle about that, is there? But unlike the Tea Parties and other legitimate forms of protest, this is openly advocating the violent overthrow of the U.S. government. Free speech is not without limits (the classic shouting "fire" in a crowded theater). Personally, I'd like to see the federal government enforce some of the laws in place that apply to the message given on the billboard.
