Please be aware that there is no effective central government and there never has been a central government. Central government in Afghanistan means the MAYOR OF KABUL. Somehow our Imperial Planners missed this point and we have committed billions attempting to establish a government over all of the country and that is opposed by everyone but the politicians in KABUL.

We have accomplished only two things in our Afghan War. We have restored the opium production to pre Taliban levels and made several thousand Afghanis and many American war contractors very, very rich. We have also pissed off most of the rest of the Islamic world with our self righteous attempts to “reform i.e. create” an Afghani Central government.

The thousands of US casualties and hundreds of thousands of Afghani causalities are not very important to our petroleum Imperialists of the New American Century”. They must have total control of the world’s oil lest their future profits be threatened by some rebel overproducing and dropping the price of crude oil. A few hundred thousand causalities are irrelevant or at most just the price of Empire.

We need to drop our Imperial fantasies and stop supporting the oil baron’s dreams of the ultimate monopoly. We need to remove ALL of our forces in the Middle East and let them work out what to do with their neighbors, themselves and the oil under their territory.

Ok, if you want to put it that way, then you must admit that the Republican party doesn't care about the sovereignty of anyone or any other country on the planet. Just bomb the he** out of any place we wish, play war games anywhere on the planet, who cares who gets hurt or which nations get destroyed. In the end, it doesn't matter, right? Because we have the biggest guns and that is all that matters. Too bad it takes a wee bit more insight to realize that all of this crap we have been doing around the globe is creating MORE hatred towards this US, which in turn creates more terrorists who actively seek to hurt us and our nation!!! That is why many protest these ridiculous and sometimes (*cough Iraq*) totally illegal wars and try to do whatever possible to pull our troops out of those places.
