"Hannity" Ratings HUGE On Sarah Palin Interview, Beats O'Reilly

Quote:
"Hannity" was the top show on cable news Wednesday, averaging 4.200 million total viewers and 1.149 million viewers in the A25-54 demographic. That's more than O'Reilly's 3.868 million total viewers/1.065 million A25-54 viewers and enough for the second highest "Hannity" episode of 2009 (behind only Election Night 2009, when he averaged 4.224 million total viewers).
She also boosted Oprah's ratings...the best in two years for her.

Quote:
CABLE NEWS RACE
NOV. 19, 2009

FOXNEWS O'REILLY/PALIN 4,120,000
FOXNEWS HANNITY 2,871,000
FOXNEWS BECK 2,730,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 2,359,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 2,113,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 2,078,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,188,000
As usual, FOX NEWS crushing the competition in prime time.

There ya be, proof positive that those three are balanced, intelligent, and honest. Quality folks, everyone. That's what ratings mean. Quality.

Or maybe they mean you can fool some of the people all of the time.

Or maybe they mean that a lot of people tuned in to see if the train would wreck.

Flavor of love also had high ratings. I find the higher the ratings a show has the dumber the audience. That being said I don't watch Fox News or MSNBC because I find them both stupid and partisan.

True but it's not likely that a spike in ratings from one interview would allow Fox News to charge more for ads on those shows.

Sarah Palin Continues to be a Ratings Draw for Networks - mediabistro.com: TVNewser

Sarah Palin Continues to be a Ratings Draw for Networks

I do hope she shuns MSNBC and CNN.

We already know she drew the best ratings for Oprah in 2 years.

Quote:
• Wednesday's "Hannity", featuring Palin, was the second most-watched show of the year for the Fox News host with 4.2M Total Viewers.

• Thursday's O'Reilly interview with Palin drew 4.12M Total Viewers.

• And last night Barbara Walters' interview with former VP nominee won the 10 o'clock hour in Total Viewers, A18-49 and A25-54. It was the second-biggest audience for "20/20" in the last eight months.
