That homophobes are ignorant mouth breathing knuckle-draggers.

But then you knew that, didn't you?

See, this board is called "politics and other controversies'. This is the kind of stuff people post here for other people to comment upon. It's a complicated concept, I know. Maybe if you read a few threads, you'd get the idea.

Is that why you're confused?

While I do love Colbert and Stewart. I do feel like the constant pandering and pushing of the gay lifestyle into the mainstream by the media as being perfectly normal is a little bit distressing. It has already been proven that homosexual tendencies are not genetic, about 70% of the cause of homosexual behavior in men is learned/environmental. Primarily to exposure to other homosexual advances in their developing years.

While I don't hate gays, the whole situation is kind of a catch 22. There are gays that are gay because of things they cannot control, so how is it fair to discriminate them? And there are gays that are gay because of environmental factors, so how do we keep them on a "straight path" without demonizing homosexuality?

So why does it matter? I believe the most important part of any life is having a family. Homosexuals cannot do that, which is why homosexual relationships rarely last. And because of the environmental component of the probability of homosexuality, I don't think we should allow same-sex couples to adopt. Sorry.

Um ok Angus usually when someone posts an article or video clip that person usually has something to say about said clip/article. I could post random things all day and take no stance on them or have nothing insightful to say about it but I don't. It seems the OP has nothing else to say in the matter?

Again, this is a political forum. I am posting an article that is political in nature. Sorry if this offends you. I am providing a topic for us to discuss. My sincere apologies if I am not posting in a way that makes you happy. I'll try to work harder at it.

And I love the knee jerk reaction. I question a thread and I'm a knuckle dragging homophobe. Nothing like tolerance and unity huh!!!

Define "Pushing the gay lifestyle" please. What the hell does that mean?
