I think this is the wrong forum but no, I've never had anything like that. I mean I've predicted outcomes of things but I never verbatum foresaw anything substantial.
I just want to conduct another poll here to try and find out if anyone here has ever had a premonition.....that came true.
You "saw" an event or "something" BEFORE it actually happened in a dream or ? and sooner or later.....it BECAME REALITY.
OR....do you even believe in them?
well i remember when i was younger i had a dream that i was standing in the hall wearing a pink jacket & the sun was shining on me at a certain angle.
i dont remember if it was a couple of weeks, months later but the dream came true.
in another dream i was standing outside in the daylight looking at my reflection in a car window then later on down the road...it eventually came true again.
i cant remember anymore right now but these are the dreams that have stuck out in my mind & its weird. i dont know what its called.

Your probably right about this subject being in the wrong forum.
I guessed it COULD qualify for "contoversial" but it isn't and I found the subject in a different forum (Religion/Philosophy) after I had posted this.
Well, I HAVE HAD.....several 100% accurate premonitions in the past.......but not in a while.
Intuition is not the same thing and neither is deja vu.
Had those too.....many times.
I'm talking about a VERY vivid, clear "dream" that often would happen either soon thereafter.....or usually, within a week or so.
The subject is controversial, and can relate to worldly events. I have had many such experiences, and so have millions of people. I don't waste time on skeptics. I respect their skepticism. I study metaphysics. It helps to have an open mind, and curious events take time, but some people have no patience. I have had my whole life to observe, and experience such things. I never expected instant results. I keep a dream journal every night. I believe in synchronicity. I have been in a car with someone, and said a word, or name only to turn a corner to see the name on a sign at a shop or something. It's noteworthy.
Don't know what to think about them...I figure there's got to be some rational explanation for it.
I've had a couple of weird things happen that fall in this category that I can't really explain..not dreams or anything...
When a boy, my father got hurt fairly badly. My grandmother, his mother-in-law who lived over 2500 miles away called almost immediately after we called the ambulance. The first words out of her mouth was "What's happened to ******?" She said she just knew he was hurt.
20 years ago when my parents called to tell me my grandfather had died, the instant the phone rang, I knew. Before I answered the phone I told my wife "Grandpa's dead." He lived about a 15 hour drive distance and hadn't been sick. I just knew it was a fact like I know my own name.
Not really premonitions since the feelings came after the fact...may postmonitions, or antemonitions...
Back in the early 70s, I had a dream where I was standing in front of a slot machine and triple blue bars came up all in a line and dollar coins started to tumble out all over the floor and I was struggling to pick them up before other people did. The dream was so vivid I couldn't get it out of my mind. So I got on a bus and took a ride to Reno, Nv. from the bay area.
I walked into Harrah's Casino and cruised the floor and there was a bank of dollar slots that had blue triple bars. It was a progressive machine and you had to line up 5 sets of triple bars to win. The jackpot was 128,000 dollars. I immediately started to play it and after 50 dollars or so, then it happened. The lights went off and the bells started ringing and the machine started to spit out dollars until the bucket was full and the dollars started to spill out on the floor and people were scrambling to pick them up. Exactly as I had seen in my dream. The floor manager came over and said to me, "Too bad, it showed the big one to you". When I looked at the machine it had lined up four triple bars and one double bar. The triple bar was just one notch above the the fifth window and that's what the floor manager meant when he said "it showed it to you." The consolation prize for my jackpot was 4,000 dollars rather than the 128,000 dollar progressive. Very spooky and all exactly true.
I don't know if this is appropriate for this thread, but here goes anyway. I thought once that I made a mistake. But then I realized that I was mistaken about that.
Yes I have, many times. I believe we all are "psychic", just like any of our other senses, some people's are just more developed.
