We are saved, 0bama, the ditherer-in-chief, and serial bower, is going to "finish the job". Well, looking at his lofty record as a war-fighter, and his double spaced, half page resume of finishing jobs, I fail to be impressed.
Your name of ditherer in chief would come out to be DIC. My nickname for him is BIC. So you will know that stands for Bower in Chief.

The Indians would describe Obama with these words. HEAP BIG SMOKE, NO FIRE.
Nah, the native Americans would have known an omega wolf when they saw one.

Tell that to McChystal. Tell him you are not impressed, because he wanted the new troops to arrive over a period of 12 months. The troops form the 1st surge this year are still arriving.

That's going to be 56 000 new troops, which is more than double of what we had there before, so I am not sure what you mean by 'scaling back'. Seems like opposite to me.

the real truth is that since he's taken office the number of troops in Afganistan has doubled, that's right, it's doubled under his watch in 10 months already, not counting the 34,000.

yet people call him a Socialist? he's not even a liberal and this isn't the "change'' he promised his subjects during the election.

the republicans need to stop calling him a socialist when he's nothing more than a corporate bought and paid for centrist and the democrats that voted for him need to wake up and see him for what he really is.

Still pondering the "mission." Send a million troops. The "Job" will never be finished. The goal is to continue the mess. The flypaper strategy. More chaos= more weapons $$$$. More testosterone. More body bags.

Yes. I know he increased troops. Why the need to keep looking back on Bush? THAT'S the issue. HE is in office now. People aren't trying to sweep the Bush years under the rug. But we want to MOVE ON, you know, like the moveon.org business you libs push, but ObaMao keeps juxtaposing himself against Bush b/c everything for the past 8 years = bad, and now that ObaMao is in, the world is a sunny place with popcicles and such. Yeah, we get that. NO need to man child by prefacing EVERYTHING by saying I'm not Bush.

This is unprecedented. We told you people over there before the election - he would be a dangerous, weak, dithering disaster. We were right.

Bob Ainsworth criticises Barack Obama over Afghanistan - Telegraph

Quote:
Mr Ainsworth took the unprecedented step of publicly criticising the US President and his delays in sending more troops to bolster the mission against the Taliban.

A “period of hiatus” in Washington - and a lack of clear direction - had made it harder for ministers to persuade the British public to go on backing the Afghan mission in the face of a rising death toll, he said.

Senior British Government sources have become increasingly frustrated with Mr Obama’s “dithering” on Afghanistan, the Daily Telegraph disclosed earlier this month, with several former British defence chiefs echoing the concerns.
You can't lead when you haven't a clue how to do it.

I don't think a leader should just do what other people are telling them to do. That was Bush's approach, and it didn't work out too well, did it? You should be happy they did a thorough study of the war as opposed to just jumping into something.
