Actually, I remember Obama having a Super Bowl party and inviting a bunch of Repubs, who promptly voted against him a few days later.

The Washington Times is scraping the bottom of the partisan barrel | Media Matters for America

As it turns out, Obama did invite "top Republican lawmakers." They just aren't attending. Let's run through the list of Republicans the Times names in its story, despite its headline:

the non-bipartisan crap is just a no win situation.. You have repubs who will not vote for anything he does just for the sake of opposition. That is all they know. They just hear that Obama is for it so they are against it, no matter what.

Yahoo. The point is not the dinner. State Dinners are an important part of diplomacy. Go back and read my posts. My issue is clearly stated.

You argue whether Obama is worse than Bush. There is really so little difference between them. Why are Americans so damn dumb?

I argue that if every criticism of Obama is answered by the Left with "Bush did the same thing" they are not too good at logic. Bush, after all, was the worst President ever in their mind.

Obama promised more. He promised "change". Where is it?
