Default Lou Dobbs Not A Natural Born Citizen

An academic colleague of mine told me that at least one of the parents of Lou Dobbs was a British citizen at the time of his birth.

I have been unable to internet-verify this.

Does anyone know for sure?

I didn't know that academia placed such a focus on Lou Dobbs. As an academic, the person should know that having a parent that's British does not mean that you're not a natural born citizen.

As long as he is actually born in the United States then Lou Dobbs would be a natural born citizen. Just like Obama is a natural born citizen despite his father being from Kenya.

Now if his father was illegal...that would be something.

It would be really funny though, given all the attention Dobbs gave to the birthers, if he really wasn't a natural born citizen.
