That was always their game plan. I mentioned in an old healthcare thread that's why they were okay with doing in seniors, a very large voting group. They knew they were going to let illegals vote to replace the seniors they were losing. It's also why they were okay with saying no Obamacare for illegals. They knew eventually, they would be covered as legals. They're already working on replacing the private sector with more government workers. They know the government workers go Democrat for bigger pay increases.

Most of these changes are about keeping them in power.

Thats one hell of a leap to assume that everyone who voted for the Stupak amendment were pro lifers, especially considering the number of votes casted in favor of it.

More than likely, Democrats voted for the bill because they knew the bigger issue was to get the healthcare bill passed, and it wouldnt happen without the Stupak amendment passing. It was a bribe, thats it..
