The country of Uganda is considering a law that will apply the death penalty to people who engage in acts of homosexuality. Many Republican Christians in this country are in favour of these laws.
Many Republican Christians in what country? Since we don't spell favor "favour" I'm wondering to which country you are referring.
There's a map here that shows which countries have life imprisonment, a death penalty, some other large penalty for homosexuality. It looks like Uganda isn't the only one:
Yes I support it as long as they realize that the Bible also asks fornicators and adulterers to be put to death. Have an affair and be executed. Of course they will never do that.
In Germany the homosexuality laws were not upheld until Hitler took over.
So, yes it was still illegal in Germany but nobody thought it was a real problem until Hitler took over and then he planned to exterminate the homosexuals within Germany. I heard it was about 10,000 gay Germans but the rest of Nazi dominated Europe was a little less psycho about it. Can anyone clarify this?
Well, Hitler was an equal opportunity murderer. There was a sodomy law, but it wasn't enforced. There are rumors that Hitler was gay/bi himself. The leader of the SA was openly gay himself. However, he was killed when he had tried to get rid of Hitler and take over. Berlin was supposedly the most liberal city at that time in the world. Obviously, everything changed when the war began.
If homosexuals were private about their sexuality, then there would be no problems. But inevitably homosexuals want to dictate morals, mores, and attitudes on others. That's where they have ALWAYS gotten into trouble historically with mainstream society, anywhere in the world.
That is total BS. You have no clue what you're talking about. It's time for you to come out of the closet....literally

One part of the new law states that, not only does it apply to all acts of homosexuality in Uganda itself, whether committed by a foreigner or a citizen BUT the law also applies to ALL citizens of Uganda no matter WHERE they reside in the world. The law says they shall be EXTRADITED to Uganda to face a possible death sentence. So if 2 homosexuals have a rump romp here in the USA and one of them is from Uganda and the government of Uganda request we extradite that homosexual to face possible death, should the United States honour that request?
What happened, i thought executing gay people is prohibited in Christianity?
