If you read the article they specifically mentioned "NASA" scientists. They have credentials and I general read the empirical evidence that they provide.

It doesn't change the fact that this decade is the warmest in recorded history. Temperature records don't lie. The only beef that the AGW crowd has is the placement of some thermometers in urban areas near heat sources. The appropriate placement of an AWOS should be at the local airport.
