Not always but Mike was right more often than Archie was. Just as I was more often right than my dad was once I was more formally educated than him. He did not have the chances and opportunites that I had for a good education because he had to go to work, help care for his family and then he was sent to Korea to fight in that conflict. He had a much rougher life than we did. While I often had disagreements with him, I never disrespected him. And on some issues, such as the Negros, he actually came more around to my way of thinking than the prejudices he held.
That is because the writers put that in the script to get more laughs.
Much of what Archie said made sense... he just sometimes said it in an irrational way.

If your are going to teach middle schoolers about homosexuality, the parents need 100% transparency and perfect information so they can opt out if they feel the need.
Don't try to fly it under the radar by calling it diversity or anti-racism, call it what it is: Sex Class with a homosexual tilt.
They can opt out by keeping their kids at home, putting them in a Jesus school or home schooling them. But NO opt out in the public schools.

If it is sex education, the school is required to report it, I believe by law, to the parents and the parents should have the option to opt out.
But what is happening, the pushers of gayness are not disclosing this stuff. They are repeatedly flying it under the radar by calling it tolerance training or something else equally innocuous then they show up with sexually related teaching aids.

Yeah with the exception of the times when ARCHIE was being a Racist...LOL...FOMC.....
I recently had a friend tell me that there was a going to be a discussion about gays and HIV in her children's 4th grade class. She demanded an opt out form. The scholl told her she would have to go to the district office. She looked up the address on the internet where the wrong address was listed. She went back home, called got the correct address. When she got there it got VERY heated because they did not want her to opt out. They intentionally made it very difficult for a parent to opt out! These nasty people with their gay agenda towards very small children are beyond the pale.
She is finally convince she must home school her children to get them out of the hands of these predators. 4th grade and HIV! Really! Parents need to review all schools policies and what they plan on exposing their children to.
You seem to have tons of anecdotes like this. Something tells me you're making most of them up.
The principal and a teacher at Goleta Valley Junior High School in Santa Barbara County, California are apologizing to parents for not following school district policy relating to a pro-homosexual workshop given to 8th grade students in a leadership class at the school.
The controversial workshop was presented by “Just Communities Central Coast” in three, 45-minute sessions over three days. It included handouts defining homosexual terminology, including ***** and transgender, and listed “heterosexism” as “oppression that ‘pushes down’ people who are LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning) and ‘pushes up’ people who are straight.”

As a parent, I would at least like to know what they are teaching my children. However, I am all for a program that teaches my child to be considerate and knowledgeable about others who may or may not be different than themselves.
According to the article there was some sex education included and it should have been filed as such to allow parents to opt out of it.
