Don't worry.
Actually, it sounded like you couldn't since you used a Russia joke when the thread was about the USSR.

I don't particularly like Palin so don't worry about me worrying.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of hers' either. She swore an oath to the Alaska populace that she would be their governor for "x" number of years. ( Yeah, running for vice president didn't tick me off, job wise it was a step upward had she actually been bright enough to pull it off, she would have been in a better position to help her state.) But...after her failed attempt at National politics, she eventually resigned from office to do "book signings". I suspect she resigned from office because she just didn't want to be bothered with the Alaskan people any longer----it kinda ticked me off.

"If you want Obama to have a 2nd term, make sure you run Sarah Palin"

- Neal Boortz

I may not agree with Neal's neo-con foreign policy tendencies and he's extremely inarticulate as a radio talk show host (Savage blows him out of the water), but he's got a point here.

You're right. They never won an election. That's why they now support the Democratic Party.

If America keeps adopting the ideals of the Bolschevik's, not will, but can our nation survive?
In the first place, they didn't take seventy years to fail. The Bolsheviks were a failure from the start, and they relied on terror and mass murder to stay in power. The closest thing to a gulag we have, our mass incarceration system, is an institution that people on the right love much more than anyone else.

Second, when our government eliminates competition, confiscates farmers' produce at gunpoint, and outlaws religion, we can resume the conversation. Until then, we are still in talk radio la-la-land.

What specific Bolschevik ideals has America adopted?

Our last administration did more to push this country to the point of fascism than any other time period in American history. A military that can't go to war without private industry assistance, a congress that refuses to declare war, and an armament industry that is tied into our political decision making results in a government that is the furthest removed from what our founding fathers envisioned.

As a lot of Russian friends of mine say,

"You so-called 'conservatives' here have no f*cking clue, just shut up, you have no idea what true communism and socialism are."
