Some other poster here on CD put it a different way.
Can't take credit for it but it sure fits the bill perfectly.

The EPA wants to cut CO2? How - by euthanizing humans? It's a freaking byproduct of living.

I got 31K scientists who agree with me.

You have no clue what my opinion is on the subject.

H.R. 391: To amend the Clean Air Act to provide that greenhouse gases are not subject to the Act, and for... (GovTrack.us)

1/9/2009--Introduced.
Amends the Clean Air Act to: (1) exclude from the definition of the term "air pollutant" carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, or sulfur hexafluoride; and (2) declare that nothing in the Act shall be treated as authorizing or requiring the regulation of climate change or global warming.
The court ruling allows them to regulate CO2 under the current Clean Air Act.

Is the world warming??? Maybe. Is there a big star right next to us? Yep. Should we cut down on pollution? Absolutely. Is co2 pollution? Hell no. These left handed Al Gore worshipers are just doing what they're told by their glorious left handed leaders like every other issue. Can't think for themselves the idiots.

I just ran some numbers after I saw the EPA CO2 article, here's what I sent to a friend of mine:

“In the 2000s, all this was happening faster than anticipated, scientists said. So were other things: By late in the decade, global emissions of carbon dioxide matched the worst case among seven scenarios laid down in 2001 by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the U.N. scientific network formed to peer into climate's future. Almost 29 billion tons of the gas poured skyward annually — 23 percent higher than at the decade's start.”

Total volume of earth’s atmosphere in tons: 1,102,311,310,000,000 tons

Percent of the earth’s atmosphere that we polute every year: 2.6308357e-5 = .0000263 or 0.00263%.

And does the pollution compound every year, indefinitely? Doubt it.

It’s amazing that these global warming articles leave out so much information. It’s not that we shouldn’t take care of our planet, it’s that these ****ers are passing off big numbers with no context and quoting the ever generic “scientists” with no specific names or associations.

Number of years that anatomically modern homo-sapiens have been on the planet: 100,000

If we polluted this much every year since the beginning of our existence and the pollution accumulated 100% with no dissipation, dispersion, or breakdown, the total percent of the earth’s atmosphere polluted would be:

2.63%

And lastly for kicks:

“Over the decade's[2000-2008] first nine years, global temperatures averaged 0.6 degrees Celsius (1.1 degrees F) higher than the 1951-1980 average, NASA reported. And temperatures rose faster in the far north than anyplace else on Earth.”

So…what about the other 4,539,999,942 years that the planet has been alive?

That is a pretty strong consensus.
“The science has come a long way since 1998 and it continues to point in one direction - the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to avert dangerous climate change.”
