You do realize that the CRU is inextricably woven into those reports?

Thanks for that thecoalman. Sad to see though that this was introduced last January. Hope it passes but I have my doubts.

We'll find out in the Spring because my guess is the Energy bill is dead, if the EPA tries to enforce this themselves the GOP will be screaming bloody murder.

An "endangerment" finding by the Environmental Protection Agency could pave the way for the government to require businesses that emit carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases to make costly changes in machinery to reduce emissions -- even if Congress doesn't pass pending climate-change legislation. EPA action to regulate emissions could affect the U.S. economy more directly, and more quickly, than any global deal inked in the Danish capital, where no binding agreement is expected.
Many business groups are opposed to EPA efforts to curb a gas as ubiquitous as carbon dioxide.

An EPA endangerment finding "could result in a top-down command-and-control regime that will choke off growth by adding new mandates to virtually every major construction and renovation project," U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Donohue said in a statement. "The devil will be in the details, and we look forward to working with the government to ensure we don't stifle our economic recovery," he said, noting that the group supports federal legislation."

How do you declare CO2 a health danger when vegitation needs it for photsynthesis, emits it, and humans require it in order to live? Why not just start killing off people? Friggin idiots.

I don't even know what a "CRU" is. I just read the link provided and pulled out a quote from that link.

Btw, does anybody have a copy of that Petition, or a list of the names of the scientists who signed it?

Steve, I know this sound all "black helicopter" and all... but....

The real goal of AGW crowd really isn’t saving the environment. Look at the Copenhagen Conference and the stated agenda.

They want the western nations that have become the most wealthy to pay trillions of dollars to poor nations.

What does that sound like? Let’s not kid ourselves. This is, and always has been the goal of the AGW “green” crowd.

Never forget “Green is the new Red”

The petition in question is a bit dubious and it's not something I would personally use as resource, I'm not saying it is or isn;t legitimate but I carefully select any information I use:

Global Warming Petition Project

A much more reliable resource would be here:
