I plan to move south in the near future.

I want a few years reprieve from paying high property taxes and high heating bills before I die.

When it snows, I want to grab the camera to catch the novelty rather than bundle up and grab the snow shovel .

and most importantly

4.Most of the fastest growing states (pre-depression...I dont think anyones moving nowadays) are in the west, not the south.

I myself am a transplant from the south who moved west.

To the OP - Where are you getting your info?
No, actually last time I checked the NE and MW combined had barely a little more than what the South has in population. And also the last I checked, the South is receiving the most people. I am getting my info from the most recent articles on this on the internet. Look it up.

Don't go to Florida!

You might want to check out the population density map of the US, seeing you actually think the south has more people than the NE and MW "combined". (snicker, snicker)
