I predict that you'll be embarrassed by your prognostication.

Why?
I enjoy 4 seasons; running water, skiing, the brilliant fall colors.
Everyone is a silly word to use for anything.

How would that cause 41,376,265.8 sq. miles of land to disappear?

Not me, I have no inclination to move south whatsoever, or even southwest. I would however move out west to colorado or pacific northwest. I like the 4 seasons here, I couldn't handle living somewhere where it was constantly hot or warm & no snow, no spring, no fall. No thank you.

I am just going by the comments I see in a lot of the Southern state forums. The locals talk as if there are more Northerners in their states than Southerners ( I am one of the people to make such statements, by the way).

That doesn't reflect on the disappearance of the Northeast and Midwest ; it says more about the death of regional cultures, particularly Southern and Southwestern culture, and the strengthening of an homogenized "American norm". The Northeast will still be there.
