Assumed power corrupts more effectively than real power. The guy is lucky he didn't get tossed off the plane and arrested for harassing the flight crew. These arrogant bastards need to get chopped down to size every once in a while.

He said he was entitled to keep his phone on until the cabin door was closed.

Yeah, that would be Schumer. He is the most pompous and arrogant politician I have ever met. He really considers himself one of the ruling class.

So here we once again have representative insulting the citizens of this country. I am thankful for the ones in this thread that arent making excuses for this and its sad that more isnt calling him out for this.

It is time to vote them all out and start over. They have had to much power for to long and think they dont live by the same standards we do

They have also forgotten to be professional and that they have to lead by example no matter how hard that is and that means you dont insult the people that pay you

Here in NY they will never vote Schumer out.

Besides being an uber-liberal in a very blue state, he has his fist firmly on the financial companies in this state and can easily fund a run against any competition.

Politics and controversies aside; Mr. Schumer, at least to me, always seemed like he could eat a bit more of "humility pie".
