Did you mean Iranian?

Anyhow, Carter was the embodiment of America to these radicals, and causing him to losing face in an election defeat was seen as a victory for them, regardless of who replaced him as president.

Yeah, I meant Iranian - but I still think there is more to the story of Iranian involvement in the selection of our president.

I think, on this subject, the history books are embarrassingly empty.
