With a bit of thought it is crystal clear...........when people do not have health insurance, they do not go to the doctor for even routine visits. Why? Because they can't afford to go to the doctor. So they let their ailments progress until they are in too much pain or otherwise impaired to let it go any longer. So they drag themselves to the emergency room, which is not equipped for routine doctor visits or preventive care. They get a prescription for something or other from the emergency room physician, which they cannot afford without insurance. So they get really sick and die unnecessarily. I don't even want to discuss people with chronic conditions, who are really screwed if they are uninsured.

But if they were liberals they were most likely voting for the wrong politicians.

Everyone should ask themselves if this bill is set to save the government money, and the people, why would they wait 3-4 years for it to start? Why not implement it immediately? Barring the obvious time constraints to get everyone on the same page, why collect taxes and fines immediately but wait to start providing services later?

I think the answer is obvious. Not only does it make their claims, with fuzzy math, it gets these politicians past 2012 before people start seeing what it's really all about.

Just calling the source of the OP for what it is ... AN OPINION.

I'm sure Rupert Murdoch (owner of FoxNews & WSJ) would approve!

You couldn't be more wrong. My father was a Republican politician. He was a "Main St." pol, not a Wall St. pol.

I said my parents got more liberal as they got older. I did not say they were socialists or even Democrats. It used to be that the Republicans let people with more liberal views into their tent.
